Moody 376 Center Cockpit, Saoirse is a Bill Dixon designed Moody 376, built in 1986. The builder describes the 376 hull form as having “excellent all round performance and effortless handling”. The center cockpit design results in a secure centre cockpit with all sail controls at hand and a clear uncluttered deck. The centre cockpit design has allowed efficient use of the hull volume to provide a spacious cruising interior for the family. Notable features include the big owner’s cabin aft with separate heads and a large U-shaped galley with extensive work surfaces. Modified fin keel with skeg hung rudder. At 15 knots of wind will do 7.5 knots and still move along in very light airs. Handles well ahead and astern under power. Large owners club with boats located all over the world.
